Configuring the Grading System

Set up grade scales that auto-calculate grades from marks

Open Grading Settings

Go to Settings > Grading from the sidebar.

Choose Grading Type

Select Percentage-based, GPA, or Custom (letter grades).

💡

Pro Tips:

  • Most Indian schools use percentage + letter grade
  • CBSE grading uses a 10-point scale

Define Grade Ranges

Set the minimum and maximum marks for each grade (e.g., 90–100 = A+, 80–89 = A).

Pro Tips:

  • Ranges must cover 0–100 without gaps
  • Fail grades are typically < 33 or < 35

Save & Verify

Save the grading scale. It will be used automatically when generating report cards.
